Read all about my favorite things at Brittany and Dave’s fabulous wedding at the Conservatory at Biltmore Estate!

1. Brittany had two veils and opted for the one that was rose gold. It was not only beautiful, but it kept with what she truly wanted on her special day! She even had a special gem hair accessory commissioned by Stephanie and Lola Salon to boot!
2. Their wedding was held under a tent at the conservatory at Biltmore, but the sun came out when the couple kissed at the end of the ceremony. Perfect timing for us to get some sunset shots at the south terrace!
3. Their design included elements of chemistry and precious gems. The couple love both of these and it was a uniquely gorgeous combination.
4. They danced with flare!
5. He never stopped holding her hand and the moments between them flowed so naturally.

Jill did such an amazing job capturing our special day. She gave us a truly wonderful way to look back on such a meaningful event for years to come. Dave and I cherish these photos and the moments they document with family and friends. Jill’s work is absolutely priceless, and she is a pleasure to work with. We couldn’t have asked for more – she’s phenomenal!

Real moments matter. This is how I shoot and document my clients, thinking of the real emotion involved with being engaged! I look forward to bringing some truly authentic imagery to their wedding at Diana at Biltmore in Spring of 2018.
Congrats to this awesome Ashley and Aaron! The best is yet to come.

This is part two of Lisa and Neil’s gorgeous wedding. Here’s the nitty gritty details about this fun event…

1. They love to travel so their tables were named after some of their favorite spots.
2. Instead of a first dance, they sang a ‘first song.’ This unique twist had their guests in tears. So beautiful.
3. They had a biscuit bar and you could roast smores as a dessert!
4. When they did the Hora, EVERY SINGLE GUEST was on the dance floor.
5. Steel Toe Stiletto Band rocked the house.

I’m still coming down off the high from teaching at my photography workshop at the Biltmore Estate when I revealed every wedding photography tip and trick I know. The students were awesome and we bonded over 3 days of intense learning. On day two, we covered natural and off camera lighting with Profoto as well as posing and composition techniques. I truly have a passion for helping others learn with their own style as a priority when shooting.

I was thankful for our team of pros including our fabulous models, Sara Fields and her soon-to-be hubby Nathan.

This awesome couple wanted a wintery session, so we traveled about 20 minutes on the Blue Ridge Parkway to discover a place that would be the perfect for them. Their adorable daughter came along for the ride, and I had so much fun with capturing the sweet moments between them. I can sense so much love here. I look forward to their wedding in March at the Grove Park Inn.

Thanks to Jill and her amazing talent, she has captured the most incredible images of us and our little princess. We had so much fun! It didn’t seem like a camera was near by! Jill is quite an artist and a pleasure to work with. If this is a glimpse of what our wedding photos will be like, they will be out of this world!
